Cruisin’ – Smokey Robinson

In the 1970s Motown Records was firing on all full cylinders. The Supremes were at the top of their game worldwide. Eddie Kendricks, Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye were all pumping out hit after hit, but Smokey Robinson, the founder of the group, the Miracles was struggling to record a hit. You see Smokey had gone solo and at the same time was Vice-President of Motown and writing hits for other artists.
